Portrait of Gerald Wells
Commissioned by the British Vintage Wireless Society

The Committee of the British Vintage Wireless Society commissioned this portrait of Gerald Wells as a tribute to the man and the Museum.

The portrait will hang in the museum for many years.  Hopefully Gerald will have to look at it for many years to come too.  But when the inevitable happens as it will to all of us, there will be a "true to life" portrait for everyone to remember him by.

The artist, Martin Constable, has known Gerald for a good number of years and has delivered a "true to life" style portrait.  The BVWS Committee think this is a fitting tribute to a man that has devoted his life and home to vintage radio.

To appreciate the portrait fully you need to visit the Museum and spend some time looking in to the depth and detail captured by the artist.
